For those that read my previous article, I initially made a planter box for the wife. Once complete I realized I wanted to add-on to it and make a cactus display. Since living in Arizona I’ve developed an interest in cactus and knew eventually I wanted to build a display for it. Of course the bulk of my work is done with wood pallets (free of charge), so let’s see what we can do.
Wanted to make the wife a planter box since I know she’s been wanting to do some gardening out on the patio. I wanted to make something easily accessible as well being unique. Due to a limited amount of space I have chosen an L-shaped planter box and added my version of a wooden deck.
I wanted to try constructing something out of pallets but wasn’t sure of what to build. My wife suggested I build a (pallet) bench. After hours of research I came across a few ideas and added a few ideas of my own.
For those that have seen my previous DIY articles know that they’re old pieces of furniture that I’ve completely re-purposed, even some that I’ve kept for family. This article will show you how I was able to construct my very own workbench out of a wood pallet.
