My very first workbench I ever built was from (free) pallets and only required a limited number of tools. However, over the last couple of years I’ve found myself moving on to bigger projects which would require a more sturdy workbench. I’ve also managed to purchase more tools over the years which inevitably gave me the advantage to constructing a better workbench for myself.
One day I was at my in-laws house and noticed something that caught my attention. My mother-in-law was telling my 2 yr. old niece to put her toys away. However, all she had was a plastic bucket that was already cracked. I wasn’t very pleased in seeing this and knew right away my niece needed something more durable and preferably something that was easier to move around the house as opposed to dragging it.
My last project I did involved a couple of candles and a battery operated lamp put together. The idea behind it was for an emergency situation, ie. power outage.
I wanted to continue on with projects that did involve candles. After researching various different kinds of (wood) candle holders I decided I’d give tealight holders a try. However, I wanted something most haven’t seen, something unique.
Recently I was browsing the internet using Wifi when the router suddenly restarted on its own. It actually got me thinking that “What If” in an emergency situation there’s a power outage and you’re left without any electricity? If anything, wouldn’t it be a shame if you were just sitting at your desk reading a book and suddenly you can’t because you’re left without any light source.
